These are two pictures of water damaged carpet, the carpet is approx 20 years old. The water damaged the carpet 8 days ago. A Stain has appeared due to the backing of the carpet bleeding, soiling in the carpet and dust in the water.
This can be cleaned but the 20years of use has damaged fiber. An odour was present and has been treated and removed
