These are two pictures of water damaged carpet, the carpet is approx 20 years old. The water damaged the carpet 8 days ago. A Stain has appeared due to the backing of the carpet bleeding, soiling in the carpet and dust in the water. This can be cleaned but the 20years of use has damaged fiber. An odour was present and has been treated and removed

Dose your Rug or Carpet "Bunch up" or Peak?

Rugs or carpets can Bunch up or peak depending on the circumstance. If a rug or carpet has been stored for a long time and peaking has occurred, the secondary backing can separate, this can be fixed through carefully using latex but if the backing is broken or the primary backing is hard this can be difficult. Bunching up of the carpet or rug occurs when a heavy table or chair stop the traffic movement of the rug and it bunches up against it.

Custom made rugs, there were 2 of these delivered to our factory in South Oakleigh. These had been used in a grand entrance to enhance the shopping experience, when cleaning was required there was a build up of carbon ,oil,grease,foods,drinks,etc. Restoration took place over 4 days with various cleaning methods each method removed months of stains and spills.
